Siberian Huskies were bred by the Chukchi people of Siberia to pull sleds over long distances. They are friendly, energetic, and pack-oriented, with striking looks.
Many people underestimate how much exercise they need, how strong their instinct to run is, and how much they shed. Huskies are also often unreliable off-lead.

Friendly, outgoing, and mischievous. Huskies rarely make good guard dogs; they tend to howl rather than bark.
